Hi! My name is Joaquín, and I’m an international student from Argentina. At Middlebury, I’m involved with the International Students Organization, the Men’s Rugby Club, and the Middlebury Consulting Group. I’m passionate about building connections across cultures and communities, something I first learned while living and studying in India, and continue to explore here at Middlebury. Outside of academics, I love cooking, going to the gym, traveling, and exploring new ideas with friends.

I grew up in San Francisco, NYC, and Los Angeles, where I attended French schools and completed the IB diploma programme. Beyond academics, I founded IBFilmFest, a film festival dedicated to IB Film students around the world, and I train and lead volunteers during disaster relief deployments (mudslides/wildfires) for a crisis response organization in Santa Barbara. At Middlebury, I write for The Campus, play intramural basketball, and from time to time DJ at parties. I love playing basketball and tennis, skiing, making short films, and cooking. Hi! My name is Thomas Hallan Naderi, and I am from Oslo, Norway. I am a Junior here at Middlebury where I am majoring in economics. Outside of school I am really passionate about football (the real one), cross country skiing, and meeting new and interesting people. Hi, I’m Aisha! I’m a sophomore double-majoring in MBBC and Arabic, and I’m an international student from Afghanistan. I’m passionate about helping others, sharing my culture, and learning from people around me. Through those connections, I’ve discovered more about myself and my interests, and they’ve led me to opportunities like finding a campus job, volunteering at the hospital, and even learning how to drive.
