At the Experiential Learning Centers, students have access to a wide range of resources, tools, opportunities, and advising to help them make the most of their time at Middlebury and prepare for life beyond college.
Our goal is to empower students to apply their liberal arts education and engage with the world through meaningful careers, active citizenship, and lifelong pursuits. We support their growth by helping them translate their liberal arts skills into those valued in the professional world and as contributing members of their communities.
Encourage your student to visit us early and often! Our advisors are available to help them explore their interests, gain experience, and feel confident in their Middlebury journey.
The Middlebury community of parents and alumni brings an incredible depth of knowledge, experience, and connections for our students to learn from. Whether you’re a teacher, banker, dancer, or biologist, there’s a student here who would value your insight and career story.
Here are some meaningful ways to get involved:
- Become a Midd2Midd volunteer career adviser.
- Participate in a career event on campus.
- Volunteer for an informal Career Conversation with a small group of students.
- Share an internship or job opportunity from your organization or encourage your HR department to list openings with us. Middlebury uses Handshake to post internship and entry-level job opportunities for undergraduates, graduating seniors, or recent graduates.
- Please review these instructions and then create an employer account in Handshake.
- Once your account is approved you can post internships and job opportunities directly on our database.
