History in Translation: Language Access

History in Translation is an experiential learning program offered by CCE since 2022. Each summer, students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and educational contexts gather as a cohort to explore an issue of present-day importance; to meet, learn from, and support community members engaging with these issues; to share and consider the diverse perspectives and experiences — the lenses — that each cohort member brings to the topic at hand; to include an historical lens when considering these present-day challenges; and to develop the skills, knowledge, and community needed for an equitable and inclusive future.
