The National LGBTQ+ Bar is launching Pride to Practice, our law school preparation program for LGBTQ+ and ally prospective law students, this September.
Pride to Practice will feature monthly programming designed for LGBTQ+ prospective students, in addition to resources, mentorship, and an early legal network. Participating students are eligible to receive discounted LGBTQ+ Bar membership, priority mentorship pairing during their first semester of law school, special office hours with me, and a virtual certificate of completion at the end of the program. Pride to Practice will culminate with our 0L Bootcamp at the National LGBTQ+ Bar’s Annual Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair. This is a great opportunity for students to build early contacts, learn more about the role of bar associations, prepare for law school, and be in community.
Interested students can sign up to be a part of the program here. No other application is required, and we welcome any and all students (regardless of sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation) who would like to participate!
